One Firm, For Life
Ashley Yellott is an associate attorney at Riddle & Hanna with over a decade of experience in legal practice. She handles a wide range of civil matters including, but not limited to, landlord-tenant disputes, breach of contract issues, estate planning, and small claim cases. She is especially passionate about litigation because it allows her to deliver concrete results for clients in the dynamic, fast-paced environment of a courtroom.
As a law student, Ashley spent much of her time advocating for victims of domestic violence through her work at the American University Domestic Violence Clinic and Women in Law Clinic. She independently argued cases before the Superior Court for the District of Columbia and defended non-citizens before the Arlington Immigration Court in their applications for Adjustment of Status.
After earning her law degree, Ashley entered private practice in West Chester, Pennsylvania, where she focused on bankruptcy and consumer protection cases. She later moved to Virginia, where she handled—and continues to handle—real estate disputes, collections issues, family law matters, traffic infractions, and general civil litigation. At Riddle & Hanna, she brings to bear many years of professional experience in civil cases to secure positive outcomes for her clients.
In her free time, Ashley attends concerts with her boyfriend, reads, and spends time with her three dogs and two cats. She is also an accomplished athlete, competing at the national level in aerial arts and practicing multiple times per week for competitions.
