Deb hails from the Mobile area of the Alabama Gulf Coast. She has a wide range of talents and an interesting career history. Her talents range from executive suite administration, business owner, entrepreneur to paralegal. She has worked in several different industries including education, construction, oil and gas, freight and trucking, and aluminum foundry. Deb ran her own successful, highly profitable business for 12 years, and assisted in managing the office for BP at Dauphin Island during the oil spill clean-up. She relocated to Houston, Texas, to attend college where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a member of three Honor Societies. While working and going to school full time, Deb worked with a commercial real estate brokerage and then an executive search group where she did contracts and administrative support. Then the Army moved her family to Virginia. She fell in love with Hampton Roads and the people here. Deb went to work at the National Center for State Courts, then several local law firms and has obtained experience in all types of law including Workers’ Compensation, SSI, Civil Litigation, Real Estate, Commercial Business, Contracts, Evictions, Unlawful Detainer, Garnishments, Collections, Traffic, Probate and Family Law.

She served as the Executive Director for the non-profit organization, the Southland Gulf Neuromuscular Association, volunteered with the Audubon Society in 2010 during the oil spill disaster, and now is an active PTA volunteer.
