Heather M. Forbes

Heather Forbes is a highly experienced paralegal who has worked in many different areas of law over the past 15 years. She is primarily focused on litigation and has seen it all from collections to complex estate and civil litigation. She has been involved in cases from inception to trial. She assists the attorneys in the firm with document examination and management, drafting pleadings, fact development, deposition and trial preparation.

Before joining the legal profession, Heather worked both as an Assistant Manager and an Operations Manager for a large national retailer. Her experience in the customer service industry has given her the ability to handle difficult situations with care and compassion.

Heather received her Associates in Paralegal Studies in 2005, from Bryant and Stratton College. In 2013, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and American Studies from Christopher Newport University, with minors in Philosophy of Law and Religious Studies. She is also a licensed title underwriter for the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Originally from Amelia County, Virginia, she relocated to Hampton Roads in 2006 when she married her husband, Terry. They call Hampton their home, along with their toy poodle, Miley. In her spare time, Heather enjoys crafting, making jewelry, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
